Pick - Shogun (+105)
Chael Sonnen again?
Time for more hate betting!

Lets see it's been 8 years since Chael has won at 205 lbs, he has Tapper Turrets, and he's ready to move to the WWE with Brock. Rua has had his problems in the UFC, but he has everything needed to crush Sonnen and keep him off my TV. I know Chael is mostly a persona to sell fights and he's a great athlete, but I can't help that I'm sick of it. I don't think Rua will be the champion at 205 again, but he will continue to be a stalwart of the division.

Pick - Browne (+200)
How about this one? I'm excited to see this fight. Travis Browne has a great record and his last finish of Gonzaga (via elbows) was just awesome. If Browne's knee had not blown out in his fight against Bigfoot he would be sitting on a perfect record.

Alistair Overeem on the other hand hasn't won against a real opponent since 2008 (maybe Werdum in 2011) and just got his shit knocked out by Bigfoot. For some reason Reem is coming in as a 2 to 1 favorite...that's a great deal for us. I do like Alistair's fighting style and this should be a very entertaining fight.

This is a great fight card for the first Fight Night on Fox Spots 1 and I'll be watching all the fights, but I don't see any other great betting opportunities. I'm hoping Uriah Hall lives up to my expectations, his last fight was a real disappointment.
