Well pin that on my ass and call me "Donkey". Not a great night for fight pickers, but an amazing night for fight fans. In DFS terms, the best score came from rosters comprised entirely of underdogs. Four underdogs finished their fights in the first round. Lets be honest, if you didn't have four dogs on your team you didn't cash.

The Brazilian crowd seemed dazed and confused after each fight. The night was a bit of a stinker for their fighters, with the exception of Santiago Ponzinibbio (Actually Argentinian). Despite crushing a Brazilian fan favorite, "Smiling" Sam Alvey won the crowd over with his infectious smile and heaps of compliments toward Brazil. Everyone else gave their "winner's ramble" to a nearly silent crowd.

The fact that the "Fight Bonuses" all (4) went to underdogs really brings home the message that this was a wild night. There was no "Fight of the Night" award; instead, The UFC cut each winner checks for $50,000 after their highlight-real finishes. Although Mir and Alvey finished their fights with devestating power, my pick for Finish of the Night Goes to Matt Dwyers superman punch KO of William Macario (watch it). It reminds me of the Baby Boss skit that SNL does.

Here are the special UFC Fight Night 61 bonuses:
